Q: What major service/repair costs might I expect to incur at & past 110k miles? on 2007 Honda Civic

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
Just told that I need struts (front) & shocks (rear). What else might be headed my way, in the way of major expenses? Car has 110,000 miles, and has no known problems.

Thanks.

Get a 2nd opinion on the struts and shocks. Other items , depending on the type of shop you bring it to ,for regular maint. (oil changes , cabin & engine air filters) , 105K- spark plugs , serpentine belt & possibly tensioner , coolant drain & fill(not flush) , ATF drain & fill (again-NOT flush) ,brake fluid flush (yes , this time I did say 'flush') , Brake check , engine mount inspection , steering component inspection & alignment if it hasn't been done in at least the last 2 years or 25-30K miles. IF oil changes have been kept up with ,you shouldn't have to worry about the timing chain. (forget the maint. minder they have , don't go more than 4000 miles between changes. That's a start , not personally knowing your vehicle , hope it helps.
