What is the oil capacity of 5.9 L engine with factory heavy duty tow package ?

(2002 Dodge Ram 1500)

Have been told by oil change business that it is 7 Quarts , just wondering if they are right. Thanks

Look in owners manual under... Specifications/capacities!! .... Index is in back of book... **DIPSTICK** ..... Dipstick!

Don't mean to intrude here but if you put the 5 qts in and that's not enough according to the dipstick.... Add more oil until the oil level is correct... On the DIPSTICK!!!!! WTH!
