What is the cost to replace the camshaft

cam kit with lifters and gaskets are about 350-450

it is about a 12-13 hour job.
i would be very sure about this before having it done.
did you have a shop verify this repair??

YES AND IM GETTING ANOTHER OPINION TODAY. SO WHAT SHOULD THE COST BE FOR PARTS AND LABOR?

as stated above. i dont know the hourly labor rate for your area but around here is about 102 per hour.
it look like about 1300, give or take, for labor and 450 in parts. not a cheap job
