What is happening with my door locks?

(1999 Acura TL)
I have a 1999 Acura TL 3.2L and none of the door locks activate by the switches inside. As the previous owner lost the remote I cannot see whether the actuators work yet there is voltage being provided to the switch harness.

Thanks
How long have you had this problem? ever since I had the car

Hello,

If none of your door locks are working at all by the existing switches, and no remote is available, it is going to be impossible to tell without circuit testing of the lock system what is going on.

Testing for power and ground at the master switch is needed; checking for power and ground at the lock actuators is also. Since all locks are affected, I would guess that it's more of a control issue rather than an individual door lock motor issue.

If your switch harness is receiving voltage, and the lock actuators are not when the switches are actuated, then you likely have a switch concern.
