What is done and how much is a tune up on a 1998 toyota avalon

i was told my coils may be dirty or need to be replaced ! i just had a tune up. should this have been done with a tune up ?

if there was an issue before you had a tune uo, yes. they should have checked the coil. no, they dont get dirty, the boots arc out and it is best to replace them.

the basic tune up is about 5 for each plug. 3 hours to replace the plugs. if coils are required, add about 79 for each coil needed.
