ARE YOU SURE THE BELT IS ROUTED CORRECTLY? WHAT PARTS STORES DID YOU GO TO? I CAN'T SEE TWO PARTS PLACES GIVING YOU THE WRONG BELT IF YOU GAVE THEM "ALL THE INFO" THEY NEED.

i went to advanced auto and o'riellys. not sure if it is routed correctly. took it off and put it back on the same way. i did give all the right info. it just doesn't make sense to me that they would both be wrong. but any suggestions would be appreciated.

DO YOU HAVE THE OLD BELT TO COMPARE WITH NEW ONE? IF THEY ARE THE SAME THEN IT HAS TO BE ROUTED WRONG.
ALSO TAKE A VERY CLOSE LOOK AT CRANKSHAFT PULLEY TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT PULLING APART WHERE THE OUTER
SHELL MEETS THE INNER HUB.

WRONG BELT COULD BE THE ISSUE. A SLIGHTLY LONGER BELT WOULD NOT HAVE THE CORRECT TENSION
