What is causing the carpet on the passenger side of my car to get wet?

The floor gets wet in the corner near the passenger door. It will stay wet for a week or two then dry up. This does not happen often.

I agree with#1 Its not hard to check just turn ac on high and let the car run for a few minutes then check to see if there is water under the car if not then the drain is plugged

Could be the a/c condensation drain tube has debri in it and water is filling up in the HVAC case and overflowing on that side of dash. Take your car to the shop that does your service work to check. Its a very simple task for them to raise your car up to inspect the evaporator drain tube.
