What is a thrush washer?

What happens is there is a thrush washer leak? will it ruin the car motor if continue to drive with the leak?

You don't state what it's leaking? Presume oil-faulty thrust washer on crankshaft allowing excess end-play creating fornt and/or rear main seal leak(s)? or lower radiator thrusth washers allowing unstable vertical oscillation in core? Trans input/output shaft wobbler groove creased?.........Huh?
