The diagnostic code was P1745. Where is the above part located and how to replace or repair

it is in the valve body of the trans. it has to be ohmed out to factory specs. the control side needs to be verified. the passages need to be clean of any debris.
this job is not one for an amateur. let a trans shop check it for you to verify and give you a bid.

CONDITIONS DETAILS/RESULTS/ACTIONS
E1 ELECTRONIC DIAGNOSTICS




NGS



Trigger the PCM active command OUTPUT TEST MODE ALL ON.


Does the vehicle enter OUTPUT TEST MODE?
Yes
REMAIN in OUTPUT TEST MODE. GO to E2 .

No
PRESS START. If vehicle does not enter the OUTPUT TEST MODE, REFER to Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) manual.
E2 CHECK THE ELECTRICAL SIGNAL OPERATION




Use a mirror to inspect both ends of the connector for damage or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals.

Measure the voltage between transaxle C191 pin 1, circuit 863 (YE/RD), harness side, and ground.
Press start and stop to cycle solenoid output ON and OFF.


Does the EPC solenoid output voltage change at least 0.01 ±.002 volts?
Yes
INSTALL a new EPC solenoid assembly. Refer to Main Control—Valve Body Assembly.

No
GO to E3.
E3 CHECK THE CONTINUITY OF THE SOLENOID SIGNAL CIRCUIT




PCM C212
Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion or loose wires.
Connect the EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box and leave the PCM disconnected.

Measure the resistance between EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box test pin 82 and C191 pin 1, circuit 863 (YE/RD), harness side.


Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to E4.

No
REPAIR the circuit in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
E4 CHECK THE HARNESS FOR SHORT TO POWER AND GROUND

Measure the resistance between EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box test pin 82 and EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box test pins 71 and 97.

Measure the resistance between EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box test pin 82 and EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box test pin 51 and ground.


Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new PCM; TEST the vehicle for normal operation.

No
REPAIR the circuit in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
