What does it cost to repair a bad lifter?

bad lifter, do all of them need to be replaced if one is bad?

generally on the motors with the cams in the center of the motor, it is reccommended to replace the cam and the lifters as a unit. if a lifter wore out, you can bet there is damage to the cam lobe.
