What does the battery voltage read? It should at rest read 12.6 volts if the battery is fully charged. A battery may read 12.6 volts but not with stand a load test. Are the head lights bright when you turn on the headlights? Turn on the head lights and try to start the car the lights should dim if the starter is drawing current.. On cranking the ignition switch sends power to the starter so the small diameter wire at the starter should have power only when cranking.
