What could be the cause of oil dumping to the ground at 1 GPM while engin is run

(2001 Volkswagen Cabrio)

I can not see where the leak is comming from. It looks like it is near the oil filter. Only leaks when engin is running.

Might be the filter! Also the oil pressure switch but it will have to be looked at.

The filter was changed and the leak is still there. Is the pressure switch located above the filter connection?

Looked a little closer. appears to be leaking at the flange beween the cast and the filter's thin metal adapter box

Ok, there is a o-ring seal OR a gasket between the adapter and engine block. It is a little more than the avg. diy'er needs to attempt.
