Q: What can cause TheEngine ToHave low idle and want to kill when stopped?ItBucksTo on 2008 Mazda Tribute

I just had the ignition housing assembly changed out and 2 recalls done at the dealer.Recalls on the electric power steering assist which they reprogrammed the power control module and ignition control module second recall was the Engine cover modification safety recall where they modified Engine cover and installed a kit.After having all this done I now have #2&3 bad coil packs and plugs.But No Check engine lights come on at all.I've never had these problems with it sounding like it wants to kill at idle or runs ruff and bucks after I get going.This didn't never had this problem til after they I got back from dealer.Since my check engine light doesn't come on like it should could it be something they did when reprogramming computers for recall or the Engine Modification recall??? It ran good before just don't understand.Thanks for any advice and help!!!

2008? OBDII? Unless you have already 'dug in' and messed with the way they left it , I would bring it back to the dealer. IF what you're saying is actually happening , then something went wrong . Does the check engine light come on for the 'self test' when you first turn on the key?
Yes the little motor light comes on when I turn key so I know bulb isn't burnt out.Sorry I didnt add that I did take it back to dealer and they said it was the
#2&3 coil packs and plugs.I told them my check engine light isn't doing nothing.I just find that odd and that suddenly both #2&3 are bad.I may take her elsewhere to get it checked and if so get another $500 or so up to get it tuned up.Not sure how long it will let me drive back and forth to work until then.Thanks
SOMETHING is WRONG with the on-board diagnostic system for you not to have the check engine light on , yet have a bad misfire in 2 cylinders! Bring it to a good independent shop for another look! Something doesn't sound right! Good luck.
