Q: wet drivers side floor on 2006 Jeep Commander

Help! My driver's side floor is suddenly wet. I felt the floor going up into the dash--but that is dry--it's just the floor. I've been researching other makes and models and have heard ac drain plugged, floor vents of the h/c system, high pressure hose? Have checked the seals around the door; no prob. I'm assuming if the windshield were leaking, the floor would be wet farther up as well. Any ideas?

If you have a sunroof, it is more than likely the drain on the drivers side. It could be the cowling drain is clogged below the windshield. Both have separate drivers and passenger drains that can easily be clogged with leaves and dirt. Both situations have happened to my 06 Commander. You can find the hose to the sun roof under the carpet and behind the kick panel. If it is clogged or disconnected, water will pool in the floor board.
I have a convertible 2004 mitsubishi eclipse! I know its not the AC,i left it off for days to test.I had the dealer charge me $300. a few years ago to put a filter,to prevent the leafes from clogging,I dont understand where he put the filter???????he told me to come back in a year to clean that filter again...I dont want to spend that kind of money, that was on the passenger side. Now i have the problem on the driver's only when it rains.Help!
I have the same problem. I is definitely a clog in the sunroof drain that runs above your front windshield. The water can be heard swishing back and forth after hard rain. It comes out in slight drips when you push on the hand grip (at eye level) to left of you as you sitting in drivers seat. I have had this unclogged twice and now 1 year later it is happening again after rain this week in NJ. The result is what you describe - - water only in the driver side of the floor.
Has it been raining? Have you been running the A/C?
My guess is the A/C evaporator drain, so make sure that is clear and draining properly.
How do you clear the A/C evaporator drain ? I know its not the A/C. I have a mitsubshi 2004 eclipse convertible. Is this a common problem?
I have the same problem with my car,Mitsubihsi 2004,nothing in wet but the driver side under the matt, can not find a leak ,its not the windshield, its not the window seal, there is no sign of water leak,or wet spot to save my life .I would love to fix it,but I can not find water anywhere but the floor,it makes it hard to repair,if you cant find the water leak!
