Water pump

I have a 1999 ford contour 4 cyl. with dual overhead cam. I took my car in to get the water pump replaced and it has taken two days for this job to be completed. How long does it take to replace this part?

labor intensive job. the timing belt hopefully is being replaced. it pays around 8 hours to complete.
