Water not circulating

(1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500)

My 99' chev. silverado recently overheated.I replaced the thermostat,Filled it with antifreeze but water is not circulating,Do u think it could be the water-pump?

It's possible the impeller is loose on the shaft. Pull the water pump and check the impeller if nothing else works.
