Volvo XC60 Recall 09V463000
Occupants May Not Be Protected in a Crash
Four vehicles delivered to Puerto Rico without the panoramic roof option are affected. Due to the design of the headliner inside the interior, front seat occupants may not have proper protection in a crash.
We at RepairPal have designated this a medium priority recall due to only four vehicles being affected. Please contact your Volvo dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
For four vehicles delivered to Puerto Rico that do not have the panoramic roof installed, the front seat occupants may not be protected in a crash. Dealers replaced the headliner assembly in each vehicle prior to sale. This recall began in November 2009. The Volvo recall number is R-217.
