mechanic said it needs a new water pump and that we should do a lot of other things at the same time. the engine now leaks oil from the front end. is this a common problem and what should it cost?

The car overheated out of the blue but when I turned on the heater, the temperature came down.

My son said to remove neg battery wire to reset computer... could be water temp sensor/air in coolant. Light went out. 2 weeks later came on again. Repeated same, light out operation normal. Also since water pump/timing belt was replaced the coolant temp has been running lower by 10-20 degrees.

Car was bought in 2010 74K and in fall changed right cat after code P2096 came on. Spring of 2011, changed left side after cat code P2098. Replaced cats and install 4 new o/e sensors. P 2098 keeps coming on. VW dealership are stumped and local VW mechanics says vacuum leak but cannot locate? MIL comes on 71 miles, then 425 miles, then 120 miles. Need intelligent answer, I love this car!!!!!!!

now check engine light is on and stays on

The dealer has said two need to be replaced, and it will cost a total of $750. Just got done replacing the heater core.

Repair pal screen says yes, but my dealer service advisor says no. He claims it is direct flow to the heater core, and there is no heater control valve.

We added brake fluid but it does not seem to be getting into the actual Reservoir tank. We poured it into the top but it does not go down into the Reservoir tank, it just sits in the spout where you fill it

and yesterday while driving oil pressure light came on for a few seconds ?

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

tubes, flex-pipe and cat are all together as one integral part. does that mean it is a failure of the the cat system and consequently covered by warranty? VW estimates repair cost $ 1o95.95 and said'no warranty'because the'check engine
light' is not on.

I have a Freon leak that they say is at the nozzle to the evaporator. Dealer wants to charge me 1850.00 to replace the evaporator...Can't they just solder the leak?

On my afternoon drives home, only during the summer, my power steering goes out and in. when the weather is cool outside it always works no problem. Any help?

is it still okay to drive eventhough i need to get a caliber replaced..........my car will be getting worked on this friday
