Car started fine then one day it would only go in reverse. It's an automatic. Any ideas of what needs to be done?

IT DOES THIS WHEN I TRAVEL OTHER THAN THAT IT RUNS GREAT PLEASE REPLY THANKS TOM

I drove car without passenger side bushing for about a year. Metal on metal

We replaced the clutch. The car ran before but won't now, why?

My AC blows hot air. Just one day stopped blowing cold air suddenly. no it's not the freon. the fans still work. The compressor doesn't. I looked under the dash and the lever that controls the hot/cold air flow is still attached. Checked all the fuses, everything was fine. Everyone that i've had look at it (family and friends) says its an electrical issue and that I should take it to the dealership. The dashboard clock and the trip odometer has always reset back to 12:00 and 0.0 miles whenever the car was turned off, and after my friend looked at it and messed with some of the wiring, they never turn off, even when the car is not running and the key isn't in the ignition. I have fixed the cigarette lighter twice and both times has had the element burned up inside it. Also whenever I drive through puddles sometimes the check engine light will come on and flash for a few minutes and then shut off. I'm nervous about taking it into a shop and getting screwed over and paying for a bunch of things that didn't need to get fixed. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

how to replace coil pack with diagram-engine lite blinking, car shuddering how hard is it to replace? not afraid to tackle it. We have fixed stuff ourselves before. First it would happen, then stop, now it keeps going.

Car was fine, shut it off, came back 15 minutes later, tried to start, sounds like it turns over, acts like it is not getting any fuel and stalls.

Just got a 01 Jetta from a friend completely free, check engine came on and the following codes showed up, Codes 0440, 1225, 1226, 1227, 1228, 1451, 1421, 1425, 1472. Can somebody help me with these codes and how to fix them?

The dash lights above the steering wheel do not work except when the left turn signal and emergency signal are used. This is a Jetta Vr6.

After the car wash, I when home and the fan never stop working, what can I do??
