RepairPal Expert Overview on October 31, 2007

Caps to disable the headlight aiming screws may be installed at the incorrect locations. Improperly aimed headlights could cause reduced road visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This could be considered a medium priority recall; this would change to high if attempts have been made to adjust the headlights. Please contact your Volkswagen dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
