Question Asked: Vacuum leak sound under hood, rig runs fine and no check engine light/no codes.

I just replaced the PCV valve including the hose & rubber grommet for PCV valve. Rig runs fine, and all codes cleared from computer (verified with FixAssist scan tool 3130C (premium OBD2). Just the same, I hear a leak sound under the hood which comes & goes while driving. Can hear at low speeds with window down, or when parked with engine idling. Sometimes it is very loud & obvious while other times it might be very faint in which nobody else hears it as don't know what they are listening for. Short of replacing all hoses for everything in my Ford Money Pit, any ideas? 1997 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4 V8 4x4
Question Answered: what wrong with the ac controls front and rear air front hot rear cold .

If still a problem, have you checked to make sure your back passenger controls are not set to HOT air while you have the front control set for REAR control. Meaning front control is set to allow back passengers to adjust heat/cool on back control panel which means you can have different temperature zones. Where if you do not have front set to allow back passenger control the system will only operate under temperature you choose from front controls. Hope this makes sense & was your simple problem/solution.
