Problem Reported: Rainwater May Accumulate in Plenum Tray Due to Clogged Drains

<p>Clogged drains can allow rainwater to accumulate in the plenum tray (at the base of the windshield). The water may leak into the vehicle's interior, brake booster, or electrical components, which can lead to major problems. Our technicians recommend keeping the tray clear of leaves, pine needles, and other debris.</p>
Problem Reported: Intake Manifold Gaskets May Leak Coolant or Engine Oil

<p><span class="ct_glossary tooltip">The <a id="ce_5616" class="ct_selected tooltip" href="/intake-manifold-gasket">intake manifold gasket</a> may develop and external </span>engine <a id="ce_59" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/engine-oil">oil</a> or <a id="ce_80" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/coolant">coolant</a> leak. In some cases, an internal coolant leak may occur causing coolant to mix with the engine oil. Our technicians tell us that operating the engine&nbsp; with a coolant/oil mix can result in internal engine damage. Replacing the intake manifold gasket should correct these leaks.</p>
Problem Reported: Check Engine Light Due to Catalytic Converter Fault

Our technicians tell us a re-flash of the <a id="ce_5613" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/engine-control-unit">ECM</a> may correct the concern. If not, replacement of the <span class="ct_glossary tooltip">catalytic converter</span> may be required.</p>
