Drop the fan under the glove box reach up and you will find a broken door pull it out, it will work great after that. Common problem.

Sometimes the shop will get a code for the cam sensor, but its actually the crank sensor that is bad. Have them both changed.

I had his issue, with mine we didn't drive the truck much and it developed an oil sludge problem. The sludge was in the oil pan and while the truck was under load, the sludge would temp. block the oil pick up which would cause low oil pressure, then cause the engine check light. We dropped the oil pan and cleaned the pan, screen and pick up tube, also changed oil. Been running good after that.

<p>On the 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 the <a id="ce_9153" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/camshaft-sensor">camshaft position sensor</a> may fail and cause the engine to crank but not start or it can cause intermittent stalling. A failed camshaft sensor will require replacement.</p>

<p>On the 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 the<a id="ce_69" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/exhaust-manifold"> Exhaust manifold</a> bolts commonly break, <a id="ce_70" class="ct_glossary tooltip" href="/exhaust-manifold-gasket">exhaust manifold gaskets</a> should be replaced and replace bolts as needed.</p>
