Question Answered: oil gauge psi is all to the right on the gauge

Sounds like a pressure sensor or gauge problem. It's always good to start by checking the oil pressure in the engine just to rule that out, then look at the rest of the system.

Question Answered: tailgate latch

Good job, it often takes walking away for a few minutes and coming back to it so you can get a fresh perspective.
Question Answered: blower
July 27, 2009, 02:20 PM
The blower is just doing what it is "told" to do, something is "telling" the blower to come on, and that needs to be fixed. It could be a relay, control panel or something else. This should be looked at by a qualified technician that is good with electrical diagnosis.
Question Answered: Where is the Idle control valve?
July 27, 2009, 02:17 PM
If the cooling fan is coming on right away, this may be indicating something other than the idle valve. If the reading from a temperature sensor, or load sensor is incorrect, it can turn the fan on. I recommend you have it diagnosed to prevent replacing parts that are good.

This is entirely possible, depending on where and how you drive. Is a shop recommending replacement? If so, did they give you a % of pad material remaining?

Car Review: 2007 Chevrolet HHR
December 22, 2008, 12:09 PM
I've been driving the HHR for a few months and I'm quite surprised by the "feel" of this car. It's steering is very responsive, the ride is solid and the cabin noise is very low. My only gripe is the 2.4L is a little underpowered during acceleration and it sounds funny. Once your up to speed, the power is adequate.
