Question Asked: ABS, TC and Stability Lights ON of Front Wheel Hub Assembly REplacement
December 22, 2010, 09:31 AM
60K Miles, Replace both front wheel hub assemblies. 2 weeks later the traction Control, ABS and Service Stability System Waring light come on. Get it back to shop and they run diagnostics ($79) on the ABS. They say I need a new Drivers side front Assembly, that we probably got a bad part. After scouring the web I find that this is a very common problem for Buick Terraza's. At what point does Buick say, Hey, we need to recall these parts because they are defective? Edmunds.com even posts that this is a know issue in the 2005 Terraza. http://www.edmunds.com/buick/terraza/2005/reliability.html
I'm going to take the steps to resolve this issue, and will post here as I take the steps to repair it. Does anybody have more in-site on this issue? Where does one file a complaint with Buick?
