Unable to open the driver side door

(2000 Dodge Intrepid)
in Houston, TX on April 27, 2009
I can't open my driver's side door from insider or outside. I can pull on both the door handle on the outside and the inside and nothing happens. I have tried pushing/pulling the door with either one or both handles pulled but nothing seems to happen. Can someone tell me what the problem could be and how much it would cost me to get it fixed (parts and labor approximately)? Thanks in advance.

The door latch is jambed internally thus preventing the door from being opened. This happens when the power door lock actuator which is integrated in the latch assembly locks up. The door trim panel will have to be removed to open the door and replace the latch assembly. Check Repair Pals repair estimator for a price range on repairs.
