Problem Description and Possible Solution

A clicking noise may be noted from the turn signal flasher after the turn signals are switched off.  This is commonly cause by a faulty turn signal switch which will require replacement.

With ignition switch in the run position, either sitting still or moving makes no difference. does not do it continually but will sometimes last for over 15 min and then stops does return but not always. But the noise is always the same.
1998 model. I was going to start looking for a short circuit until I found this page. Blinker relay is actuating randomly without energizing turn signal lamps or dash indicators.
