Turn signal malfunction

(1999 Jeep Cherokee)
in Irmo, SC on October 03, 2009
My turn signal has been freezing up. Sometimes it is fine while other times it just stays on solid. It sometimes blinks at twice the normal rate.

Hi,
Did you find out what was causing this? Did you have a bad turn signal bulb? Or was the switch bad?

I have a similar problem on a 99 jeep Cherokee sport.Replaced the fuse and the flasher relay, all bulbs are new. Seemed to take about 5 days then worked great after about 3 weeks just stopped. sometimes the indicator lights work on the dash and the blinkers work, then they wont at next turn.Hazards work fine.Does anyone know where I go from here, has been a cycle now for about a year.
