Q: Truck making clicking noise, w/lights, but will not start. on 2007 Toyota Sequoia

Truck was running fine. I parked for 1-hour and tried to restart. Dash lights up, clicking sound, w/headlamps that go off quickly, and the engine does not turn over at all--absolutely no cranking.

Is this battery or starter, or something else?

ck battery cables and battery 1st if thee ok poss starter issue. if its orig battery it might be bad as it is 6 yrs old
Thanks. It is a second battery from WalMart, that was replaced in 2009. I've pulled it out and I'm taking it to WM to have it checked and replaced if necessary.

The starter never showed any signs of trouble. No hesitation, or odd noises. I did recently just replace the headlamp bulbs, and I have no idea if I didn't replace the battery terminal cables correctly. Perhaps that was part of the issue as well.

I'll let you know what I find.
