I had the idle sensor changed and that did not help it will not idle unless it is at a normal temp.

there is no idle sensor. what part did you replace and why?? was there a code??

throttle body, idle control motor, vacuum leaks, coolant temp sensor and wiring are among common issues.

I replace the idle control sensor it cost me $42.99 @ Advance auto the front of it looks like a bullet and it has a plug like on the other end for electrical tie in. Now it will just die if it is running down the road- no matter what the temp is. Could it be dirt in the fuel filter? my ex was good at running it on empty 90% of the time. Thanks for your help
