I have a buzzing sound coming from the front of the car, only when driving. I thought it might be the brakes but I just replaced those last year so now I thinking the transmission. today the car seem to have slipped and then jumped into gear. My question; is there a required tranny maintenance for this car? The car has 78'000 miles on it. Please reply. Thanks Tim T.

The transmission should be flushed and the filter changed at least every 60k. I know the manual says everything lasts forever, but that is a myth, in my experience. Good, regular maintenance is what helps things really last over the long run. Don't forget to flush your DexCool Coolant as well and to replace your Spark Plugs and Wires, 100k tune-up is too long and the Coolant NEEDS to be replaced way before 100k, more like 60k.
