Now, our 1999 Taurus wagon won't move at all.
Is it a torque converter problem? Sensor? Or other?

Verify fluid level? Anything tested/scanned , earlier when the 'shifting problem' first showed up? How long has it been a problem? How many miles on it? Does it make any weird noises that it had not , before?
