Transmission fluid is pouring out of the transmission next to transmission pan why is this happening

(1990 Chevrolet Cavalier)
in Chicago, IL on May 20, 2018
It does not appear to be leaking from the pan or the coolant hoses and when I say leaking it looks like with dumping a court upside down and pouring out
What seems to make the problem better or worse? I dont know
How long have you had this problem? One day car is not driveable with this problem

Actual source of any leak can be very deceiving - leak seems to be coming from here - however it is actually leaking over there.

SO - this is going to require hands-on inspection with *vehicle hoisted* on an automobile lift.

It is moot to simply post a list of the possibilities here.
