will an automatic trani from a 1996 blazer with a 4.3 fit a 1995 blazer with same eng and both have 4 wheel drive

Can you get a part number off of the transmission? Best course of action is to see if you can get a local dealer or parts house to look up the VIN of the car you want to put the transmission on and make sure that part number of the replacement transmission will work. A transmission rebuilder or probably the Chevy dealership could help by looking them up in their system.

no the only trans that will fit a 95 is the 95 something to do with the computer system
