The front drive shaft of the vehicle may separate from the drive train. This would cause a lack of vehicle propulsion, and the vehicle could also roll if not securely stopped by the parking brake. Both scenarios can increase risk of an accident. 

Recall repairs on your Toyota must be performed by a Toyota dealership. Toyota will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in August, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Toyota dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Toyota recall number is H0M.
