my truck shakes at speeds from55 to70.recently had all 4 rebalanced but this didn't help. But the shaking starts from the rear and goes to steering, after 70 it smooths out.
Dash indicators also freeze on solid. have replaced all rear bulbs (both sides)
will shift into 2nd after 4000 rpm's but does not go into 3rd also idle will surge at a stop
I need to replace the cam phasers. How much does it cost to replace them
This morning while idling my check engine light came on. Checked the codes to be p0120 and p0770, or throttle position sensor and the E solenoid. After I read the codes I reset them and then went and did a complete fuel system and automatic transmission flush, as well as changed out my differential oil (it was pretty dark instead of water like). After the fuel system cleaning my sometes erratic idle went away. Could all of this fixed the issue? On a side note, I was getting horrible gas mileage for the past month or so.
i noticed when i put wheight in truck i loose alot of power and find myself down shifting all the way down to first like i should get out and push. my truck has 364000 is she just wore out or can i regain the get up and go she used to have?
Already changed the plugs with Toyota parts and had the system scaned by a machnic. I do have the engine light on showing 02 sensor is bad. Could this be causing the lack of power and hisitation ?
