I have a 2003 Murano SL with 65,000 miles. I replaced the original tires with Michelins. I need to replace tires again, but I want to find which tires will give my car the smoothest quietest ride? It is not an AWD. I just want a smooth ride like it used to be.

Then replace them with the same tires that came on it when new or equivalant.

I'm not familiar with the original equipment tire -- but I do know that manufacturers put tires on their vehicles that are in their opinion a great match for the vehicle. I would revert to the original tire brand and model to get the most predictable ride quality. Michelin makes excellent tires, but they may be too hard or too lack certain nuances that you are seeking for your Murano.
