Timing Chain Cover Gasket...

(1999 Ford Ranger)

Are there coolant ports that run through this timing chain cover? Coolant is leaking again and the dealer says it's from the timing chain cover gasket. Do you agree?

Coolant can leak from the timing cover gasket indeed. However have a pressure test of the cooling system done to verify the source of the leak, using dye if necessary to pin point it.
