2007 Subaru Legacy Q&A
2007 Subaru Legacy Question: timing belt replacement
Hello, Subaru recommends replacement of the timing belt at the 105,000 mile service or after 8 years. You have a ton of time before you need to replace the belt, however, if for any reason the water pump need to be replaced before then, I would replace the timing belt at that time, it will save you in labor costs. And when you do replace the timing belt, make sure to replace the water pump. - lawrenceg
