This truck is a five speed, four cylinder, with two plugs pec cylinder. The timing belt broke. Is this an interference motor, could it have bent the rods? -
Answer 1
My information says it is not an interference engine and says " inspect at 120.000 miles replace if necessary" I would replace it at 120.000 for sure. -
Answer 2
Our Mazda 1999 B2500 did the same thing, the timing belt needs to be replaced. At the cost of $250-$350 depending on where you go. -
