Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
What could the ticking sound be? When I press on the gas not only does the sound get louder but the engine pulses. While driving it takes a long time to get up to speed. Please advise..

I wonder if it could be a lifter noise or an exhaust leak that amplifies when under pressure, as you say when you accelerate. A loss of power or a prolonged amount of time to get up to speed could be a restricted exhaust. Car is to new to have these problems, I can only say get it checked out as I can only unfortunately guess a the cause of the problem without being able to hear the noise first hand.
I am anxious to hear what you find is the source of the problem.
