The cable is around $50 from Honda to replace it is about an hour labor if it is only the plastic part of the handle that has broken off a vise grips attached to the cable will allow the mechanic to grab the cable with a vise grips and open the hood making it easier to replace the cable. If the cable is broken it may be harder to replace the cable as the lock will have to be opened from the front (behind the grill).
