my light to my car isnt voming up like it should when i turn the lights on what should i do?

You can manually move the affected light on your 1997 Pontiac Firebird to the up position using the knob on the actuator. Once you get the light up, unplug the electrical connector at the actuator so that it will not go back down again. Chances are the actuator has failed and will need to be replace to restore proper operation.
