Thank God, I can turn off my headlights. Why are all of these headlights on?

On a bright, sun-shinny day, I see high-beam headlights staring at me from the opposite direction. Why are these headlights on - all of the time? This is very, very annoying.

People just dont care anymore or dont know how to turn off the lights! Unfortunately. It will get worse, wait and see!

They are called 'daytime running lights' , standard factory equipment on lots of cars now. Mainly because society doesn't believe in doing one thing at a time anymore , so it helps 'distracted' drivers notice you.
