The shift lever for the manual transmission may not operate properly, not allowing gears to be selected. If the transmission cannot be shifted, it can increase the risk of a crash.

Recall repairs on your Suzuki must be performed by a Suzuki dealership. Suzuki will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in March, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Suzuki dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.

Due to parts availability, Suzuki will be sending owners of affected vehicles only a recall notification, beginning in October. A second notice will be sent when parts are available to complete the remedy. If don't receive notification and you feel you should, please contact your dealer for further instruction.
