Due to parts availability, Suzuki will be sending owners of affected vehicles only a recall notification, beginning in October. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call.

In some cases, it may be possible to move the shifter out of park with the ignition switch off. This could cause unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of a crash.

This should be considered a high priority recall. The vehicle could roll unexpectedly. Please contact your Suzuki dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
