Sunroof may be damaged if opened at freeway speeds on Dodge Neon

Problem Description and Possible Solution

The sunroof may open only to the vent position and close, or it may open to the vent position and get stuck. This may occur after the sunroof was operated at high freeway speeds, which applies excessive force to the sunroof mechanism. The sunroof mechanism will need to be disassembled and reassembled, replacing mechanism parts as needed.

My wife has opened and closed the sliding sun roof several times this summer; however, just today the sliding sun roof tilted up in back and would go no further. Unfortunately, at this time the sun roof will not close.
