Struts or mounts??

how can i tell if my car needs its struts or mounts fixed??

Try the bounce test first, then if they seem worn out get an estimate to replace the struts and mounts if they're bad also.

If you push down and release the car it should not bounce excessively if the shock absorber portion of the strut is good. You can also look at the strut and shock shaft with a flashlight and look for oil leaking. Is the car making any specific kind of noise on rough roads or when going over bumps?
