Stick shift knob fell off

(1990 BMW 325i)
of Monster Joe's Truck, Tow, Trailer and Salvage Yard in San Francisco, CA on February 03, 2011
The top half of my stick shift knob just ripped off one day. Is this normal? Is this something I should superglue or are there better aftermarket products I can use?

Don't glue it! You can buy another knob from the dealer or go to an aftermarket BMW site like Bavarian Autosport and buy another one.
