Steering wheel shakes

(1999 Honda Civic)
whenever i drive from 60-80 mph the wheel starts to shake a lot what could be the problem?

This sounds like classic wheel imbalance. Have all 4 wheels balanced and while they are being balanced, check the condition of all 4 tires to make sure there are no bubbles or anything. I assume this vibration happens with out any braking, that it occurs when you reach this speed range.
If it happens while braking, then on Honda's it is often warped rotors and/or drums, but the steering wheel vibration is usually front rotors being warped.
